MARRIED WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE
--One married woman committed suicide by consuming poison at Amarput-Mewatiya village under Ara Muffasil police station. Police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Ara, 17 March 2023, (RNI): One married woman committed suicide by consuming poison at Amarput-Mewatiya village under Ara Muffasil police station. Police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Sangita Devi 25 wife of Shekhar Pandey of Amarpur-Mewatiya village. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter.
Shekhar Pandey said at the Ara Sadar Hospital that she got a girl child about a year ago and was administered medicines. She was living with her parents for some time and on the eve of Holi, she came to her in-laws and complained some problem. He took her to doctor who prescribed some medicines. He also wanted to take her to Ranchi for treatment but she did not want to go there. He called her father who came and returned after admonishing her. Today, she consumed poison and committed suicide.
