ARA------------------------In the last and final day of the three day 29^th Inter College Athletic Meet of the Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Maharaja College was declared winner and lifted the trophy while H D Jain College, Ara was runner up. The chief guests and guests of honour distributed prizes among the successful participants in each and every category.

Shiv Shankar Singh, former Vice-Chancellor was the chief guest while Dr. Narendra Singh, Principal, H D Jain College, Kamla Singh and Kamini Sinha, former Principal Mahanth Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalay, Kahaiya Bahadur Sinha, Raj Kumar Prasad, former Professor, Department of Mathematics, Professor, Ram Chandra Singh, former Head of Department, Psychology, Maharaja College were guest of honour on the final day of the meet.

Besides, in the final of the Discus Throw Boy category, Rudra Narayan Singh of MBA, VKSU, Ara remained first while Shashi Kant Singh of Maharaja College and Dinesh Kumar of R S College, Tilhathu were second and third respectively. In the Javelin Throw girl category, Muskan Kumari of M B College, Buxar, Chanda Kumari of M M M M of Ara and Preeti Kumari of S V P College, Bhabhua remained on first, second and third position respectively. In the High Jump Girl category, Lakshmi Kumari of M V College Buxsar was adjudged first while Pratigya Kumar of Mahila College, Dalmianagar remained on second position and Sushma Kumari of R S College, Tilahathu was third. In the 400 meter run of boys category, Surendra Kumar of Maharaja College, Ara remained on first position, Abhishek Kumar of H D Jain College, Ara on second position and Sunil Kumar Pal of H D Jain College, Ara on third position. In the 200 meter boy category Shobhit Shankar Pandey and Ankush Kumar Ojha of Maharaja College remained on first and second position while Sunil Kumar Pal of H D Jain College, Ara on third position. In the 1500 meter boys, Amit Kumar Gupta, Ankit Kumar and Ravi Kumar remained on first, second and third position and in the800 meter boys, Surendra Kumar was declared first while Amit Kumar Gupta and Pawan Yadav were adjudged second the third. In the 100 meter girl category, Kumari Dipti of S V P College, Bhabhua, Tiat Jahan of I F S college Komal Kumari of Shankar College, Sasaram were declared first, second and third. In the Discus Throw girl category, Muskan Kumari of M V College, Buxar, Priti Kumari of S V P College, Bhabhua and Madhuri Kumari of Mahila College, Dalmianagar were adjudged first, second and third respectively. In the 4x400 meter relay girl category, R.S.College, Tilhathu, was declared first while H D Jain College, Ara was declared second and Mahila College, Ara remained on third position. In the 5000 meter race for boys category, Pawan Yadav of S V P College, Bhabhua, Ravi Kumar of Sri Shankar College, Sasaram and Sanjeet Yadav of R A D C were declared first, second and third while Tez Narayan of H D Jain College and Jyoti Prakash of the same college remained on fourth and fifth position. In the 4000 meter race for boys category, Surendra Kumar of Maharaja College was first, Abhishek Kumar of H D Jain College remained on second and Sunil Kumar Pal of the same college was third. In the 200 meter of boys category, Shobhit Shekhar Pandey of Sri Shankar College, Sasaram remained on first, Ankush Kumar Ojha of Maharaja College was on second position and Sunil Kumar Pal of H D Jain College, Ara was on third position. In the final of 100 meter race in boys category, Aniket Kumar Ojha of Maharaja College adjudged first while Shobhit Shekhar Pandey of Sri Shankar College, Sasaram was adjudged second and Jitendra Gupta of S B College, Ara remained on third position. In the Triple Jump for boys, Sagar Kumar Singh of S B College, Ara was first while Shivansh Kumar of S V P College, Bhabhua remained on second and Kumar Rishi Raj of H D Jain College, Ara was third. In the 200 meters girl category, Kumari Dipti of S V P College, Bhabhua was adjudged first while Sarita Kumari of Sri Shankar College, Sasaram and Anjali Yadav of H D Jain College, Ara remained on second and third position. In the Long Jump for boys category, Sunil Kumar Pal of H D Jain College, Ara, Ankush Kumar Ojha of Maharaja College and Sandip Kumar of S B College, Ara remained on first, second and third position respectively. In the Javelin Throw for boys category, Shashi Kant Kumar of Maharaja College, Prashant Kumar Singh of the same college and Ankit Kumar of G B College, Ramgarh remained on first, second and third position respectively.
