MAGADH EXPRESS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS, CREATED PANIC

BUXAR--------------------------Once again a train accident happened near Buxar railway station under Danapur rail Divisionn of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur today though no casualty reported so far.

Magadh Express from New Delhi was coming and in between Dumraon and Raghunathpur railway stations near Buxar railway station under Danapur railway division of the East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, the coupling of the train broke and the train divided into two parts and created chaos among the people and passengers and ripples in the railway administration though no casualty is reported so far. As a result, rail operations are disrupted under Danapur rail division following the incident and several long route trains are stranded at different railway stations.

Sources said that Patna bound 20802 Magadh Express from New Delhi and left the Dumraon railway station with a delay of 8 munute at 11am. At about 11.06 minute, the train proceeded from Tudiganj railway station. After about a minute, the coach number SER192158 S-7)-13 from train engine and SER 182333 (S-6)-14 from the train engine at KM 635/32 train got divided into two parts with a loud nose near Dharauli halt.  The S-7 sleeper bogie along with AC bogies proceeded ahead while the rest halted. In the beginning, the driver and the guard of the train thought that the train had derailed but when the driver stopped the train by applying emergency brakes and looked down, it was found that the train was divided into two parts due to the broken coupling though no loss of property and life was reported so far.

After the incident, the GRP and the RPF along with railway officials rushed to the spot. The railway Ministry has ordered an investigation into the accident and has summoned the investigation report. The police and officials are trying to restore movement of trains on the route as soon as possible.
