Ara, 1 May 2023, (RNI): Lord Ram is omnipresent our God and ideal and we cannot pocket his insult. Indian culture is eternal, said the Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. He was speaking on the occasion of Sant Sammelan, Lakshmi Narayana Mahayjna and Maa Bhagwati Prana Pratishta at Labhuaani village of Gadhani block in Bhojpur district.
The Governor, Jagatguru Ram Bhadracharya Jee Maharaja, Sri Sundar Raj Yati Yatiraj Swami Jee and other saints jointly inaugurated the programme by lighting the candle amidst citing of Vedic Mantras and slogans ‘Jai Sri Ram’, ‘Har Har Mahadev’, ‘Jai Bajrangbali’, ‘Sanatan Sanskriti ki Jai’ that rented the sky. The Governor also orbited the Yagya Mandap and also laid foundation stone of Ichchhapurti Ganesh Temple and Maa Siddheshwari Shaktipeeth temple. Flowers were showered on the devotees from the helicopter.
Addressing the devotees he said that Indian culture is eternal and infinite which teaches us to respect the Saints, Manaths, Sadhus who champion the cause of Indian culture and also are on fore front to defend the culture on special occasion and led the society and blessed us. Their blessing led us to God. He further said that some people are in the habit of criticizing our religious books and epics and have launched campaign against the Sri Ram Charit Manas and created suspicion in the society. Only ignorant people are doing all these. Sri Ram Charit Manas is like an ocean and the deeper one dives, the more one gets. Lord Ram and Maa Janaki resides in our hearts and we cannot tolerate their insult. He stressed need to ban the campaign against our religious books, epics and our deities.
Jagatguru Ram Bhadracharya Jee Maharaja said that garbage is not in the Sri Ram Charti Manas but in the intellect of those saying this. Sri Ram Charit Manas is acceptable not only in India but also abroad and politics cannot be on caste. He said from Gomukh to Gangasagar and from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, India is one. He exhorted the need to give not to take from our culture. He also explained the three colours of our national flag in detail. He further said that the stars in the sky could be counted but not the scams of so-called politicians and the country paid for it. He vehemently criticized the Education Minister, Bihar for his comment on Sri Ram Charit Manas and said that he should expand his horizon of knowledge and then comment. Calling Nation ‘god’ he said that nation is paramount. He stressed need to develop divine virtue for the unification of country for the welfare of society.
Jagatguru Ram Bhadracharya gave a clarion call to declare the Sri Ram Charti Manas ‘National Epic’ by passing resolution in the parliament. He added after removing article 370 in Kashmir, it is time to annex Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
