ARA------------------------------Under the banner of Sri Sanatan Shakti Peeth Sansthanam and Sanatan-Sursari Seva Trust, a programme was organized at its office to mark the Buddha Purnima, birth anniversary of Lord Buddha.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that with time, practical distortions get incorporated in the field of religion. Society starts behaving beyond Vedic education and values. The demons and anarchic elements who are opposed to the Vedas, Yagya, God etc. come to the earth in human form. At this time, Lord Buddha incarnated to reveal the essence and heart of the entire Vedas and to purify the distortions. Acharya said that Gayadham has been described as the land of Buddha avatar in the Puranas. Bharat Bhushan Pandey further said that this incarnation took place in Magadha region and in a Brahminn clan. He said that the followers of the later Buddha who is called Siddhartha or Gautam Buddha, opposed the Vedas and Yagya whereas the proto-Buddha corrected the distortions in the Yagya and propagated the teachings of Vedas.
Madheshwar Nath Pandey conducted the meeting while Vishwanath Pandey welcomed the guests and Satyendra Narayan Singh extended vote of thanks. Akhileshwar Nath Tiwari, Siyaram Dubey, Virendra Prasad Srivastava, Ajay Mishra, Janakdulari Tripathi and others amongst those who were present on the occasion.
