LOK ADALAT MAINTAINS MUTUAL HARMONY IN THE SOCIETY—DISTRICT AND SESSION JUDGE, BHOJPUR
Under the aegis of Bhojpur District Legal Services Authority, Ara, National Lok Adalat was organized on the campus of the Ara Civil Court under the presidentship of District and Session Judge, Bhojpur, Brajesh Kumar Malviya.
ARA (RNI) Under the aegis of Bhojpur District Legal Services Authority, Ara, National Lok Adalat was organized on the campus of the Ara Civil Court under the presidentship of District and Session Judge, Bhojpur, Brajesh Kumar Malviya. The National Lok Adalat was inaugurated jointly by the District and Session Judge cum president District Legal Service Authority, Brajesh Kumar Malaviya, Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav, President, Ara Bar Association, Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Public Prosecutor, Nageshwar Dubey, Government Prosecutor Raj Nath Singh, District Prosecution Officer, Manik Kumar Singh, Sub-Judge cum Secretary District Legal Service Authority Gautam Kumar by lighting the candle. Senior officers of the District Lead Bank Manager, South Bihar Gramin Bank, officials of the State Bank of India and judicial officers were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, District and Session Judge Brajesh Kumar Malviya said that the Lok Adalat maintains mutual harmony in society due to execution of cases in it and the cases are disposed of quickly and the burden of the court is also reduced.
Sub-Judge cum Secretary, District Legal Service Authority Gautam Kumar said that a total of 21 benches were constituted in the Lok Adalat and a total of 1324 cases were disposed of in which 476 were of Bank, 18 of BSNL and total number of compoundable cases pending in the court was 830 including 192 criminal cases, 100 legal cases, 6 motor accident cases, 452 Railway Act cases and 80 mining cases. He said that a total of about Rs. 3.43 crore settled in the Lok Adalat.
Bench Advocates, bank advocates, electricity board advocates Vimlesh Kumar Bulgani, Kanhaiya Singh, LIC advocates, Ajendra Mohan, Sudhir Jee Sahay, Deepak Kumar, employees of the Legal Service Authority and others were present on the occasion.
