BUXAR------------------------------Additional District and Session Judge I Buxar Civil Court, Manoj Kumar II awarded life imprisonment to husband and wife in connection with murder of a woman also slapped a fine of Rs. 5000.
APP , Buxar Civil Court, Jai Ram Singh said that two brothers had clashed over a handpump at Bhar Toli under Itadhi police station in Buxar district on October 24, 2021. Mukhlal Chaudhary and his wife Usha Devi tried to take away the head of the handpump and filling up the handpump with sand and when protested, Mukhlal Chaudhary attacked Chanda Devi with the head of the handpump on her head and a hammer and injured her badly. She succumbed to her injuries during treatment later.
After hearing both the parties, the ADJ I convicted Mukhlal Chaudhary and his wife Usha Devi and awarded them life imprisonment and also slapped a fine of Rs. 5000 on Mukhlal Chaudhary.
