ARA (RNI) Additional District and Session Judge XIII, Aditya Suman warded rigorous life imprisonment to Mamlesh Singh and also slapped a fine of Rs. 50,000 on him in connection with a murder.

 District Prosecution Officer cum APP Manik Kumar Singh said that some armed miscreants had shot dead Munu Singh of Maharana Pratap Nagar locality under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district on April 27, 2017 near a furniture shop of his brother. An FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station against some persons including Mamlesh Singh and Pintu Singh on the statement of Viswanath Singh, elder brother of the deceased blaming that the named miscreants along with his aides came on motorcycle when Munu Singh was talking with his friends under a tree in the village and shot at and injured him and escaped from the scene. Later Munu Singh succumbed to his injuries on way to the Patna Medical College and Hospital, Patna.

Hearing both the parties, the ADJ XIII convicted Mamlesh Singh and awarded rigorous life imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs. 50,000 on him. The court issued non-bailable warrant against Pintu Singh as he did not appear in the court.
