LEFT BURNT EFFIGY OF THE HOME MINISTER AMIT SHAH

BHABHUA (RNI) Hundreds of activists of the left parties observed ‘Protest Day’, took out protest march and also burnt effigy of the Home Minister Amit Sah in protest against derogatory remarks of Amit Sah on Baba Saheb Ambedkar.

The leaders took out protest march from Kushwaha Bhawan that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated in a meeting at Post Office roundabout where they burnt effigy of the Home Minister, Amit Sah.

Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said that on the day the Constitution of India made by Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar came into force in 1950, the RSS and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad had burnt the effigy of Baba Saheb and copy of the Indian Constitution and termed the act as anti-national. The act also showed that there are so much disgust and hatred towards Baba Saheb Bhim rao Ambedkar in RSS and the BJP and they only pretend to show respect to the Indian Constitution and Baba Sabhe but in fact they are working day and night to bury his thoughts and ideas.

The leaders said that they knew that the thoughts of Baba Saheb will remain alive in the country, till the country remains and till the ideas of Baba Saheb is alive, the dreams of the RSS and the BJP to establish Hindu Rashtra and to make the constitution on the basis of Manu Smriti, will not come true. The leaders further said that this is the strength of the Constitution that those who boasts of more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha election in 2024, had to settle for only 240 seats and form a government on crutches. They added that the derogatory remarks of the Home Minister, Amit Sah against Baba Sahed in the Rajy Sabha was not sudden but just a fret toss.

One Baba Saheb had said that how good the constitution would be if its implementation would be wrong and its outcome would be wrong if fell in wrong hands and his prophecy has been proven true today as the Indian Constitution is in the hands of the Communalists and the Fascists forces.

Baba Saheb had doubted in the Constituent Assmebly on January 25, 1950 that the day the people of India would start considering religion as the country’s virtue, that would be the day the country would lose its freedom and the day people become so devoted to a leader, he would start taking decision against them by tyrannizing them. There may be freedom on paper but in real life, the people of India will lose their freedom. Today, the way journalists and intellectuals are being labeled as urban Naxals for speaking and writing against the government, they are being imprisoned for years for treason. Baba Saheb’s apprehension today is being proved true.

Baba Saheb had warned very sternly on the question of RSS and BJP building a Hindu nation in India and said that if a Hindu King is established in India, undoubtedly, it would be a great disaster for the country. No matter what Hindus say. Hinduism is a threat to liberty, equality and fraternity. That is why it has no connection with democracy. Hindu Raj must be stopped at any cost.

Where does the RSS-BJP get strength to do all this? Undoubtedly, they got the strength from the so-called Ambedkarite sister Mayawati, Chirag Paswan, Jeetan Ram Manjhi, Ram Das Athawale, Nitish Kumar, Chandra Babu Naidu who are the said to be the leaders of Dalits but they are a great threat to them than to the BJP.
