Land mafias pelted on police force with stones when they went to Sonapa village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district today when they went there to settle a group clash in the village in between two groups.
Buxar, 14 March 2023, (RNI): Land mafias pelted on police force with stones when they went to Sonapa village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district today when they went there to settle a group clash in the village in between two groups. At least half a dozen police personnel were injured. Later the police arrested 11 land mafias and sent them to jail.
DSP (HQ), Md Ashfaque Ansari said that Anand Bhushan of Sonapa village under Rajpur police station in Buxar was trying to capture a piece of land of other villager who informed the police about the incident and requested to settle the problem. On information, police force rushed to spot. Seeing the police force, people of a group attacked and pelted with stones on police force in which about half a dozen police personnel were injured. The DSP further said that on his direction, the police team once again went to the village and arrested 11land mafias. The police produced them in the court and sent them to jail under judicial custody.
