LADY ENGINEER HIT BY RUNNING TRAIN AND DIED

Ara, 22 July 2023, (RNI): One lady engineer fell from a running train at Platform No 3 Ara railway station under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur. The deceased was identified as Abhilash 28 daughter of Devendra Singh of Matuli village under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district. Presently she was posted in a private company on the post of engineer and was assigned the duty of marketing. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Shibu, brother-in-law (jija) said that she had come to her village on leave two days ago. She along with the daughter of her elder sister was returning Patna by train. As the train stopped at the Ara railway station, she got down from the train to take water. Meanwhile, the train started. She ran and tried to board the running train but she slipped and she died after hit by the train. Her niece informed the family members on mobile about the incident.
