-Bhojpur police arrested a woman and seized 52.50gram of heroin packed in 82 small packets from her near Gausganj locality under Ara town police station. The drug peddler was identified as Chinta Devi 45 of China Kothi, Harijan Tola, under Buddha Colony police station in Patna district.

ARA-----------------------Bhojpur police arrested a woman and seized 52.50gram of heroin packed in 82 small packets from her near Gausganj locality under Ara town police station. The drug peddler was identified as Chinta Devi 45 of China Kothi, Harijan Tola, under Buddha Colony police station in Patna district. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station against her under the NDPS Act and the police sent her to jail after interrogation.
ASP Parichay Kumar said that the police got information that a lady drug peddler was to go to Patna from Gausganj locality under Ara town police station with heroin via Chauri village. At the direction of Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav a police team under the SHO Ara town police station was formed and the police team launched vehicle checking drive at the Gangi Bridge near Gauganj. Meanwhile, seeing the police a woman tried to flee but the police chased and caught her. When searched, the police recovered 52.50 gram of heroin packed in 82 packets and a mobile.
