Krishna is the exalted Supreme entity and His name, form, attribution and pastimes are all eternal-Chanchalapathi Das

(RNI) The 5249th appearance day of The Supreme personality of Godhead Lord Sri Krishna was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp on Thursday at Chandrodaya Mandir located on Bhakti Vedanta Marg of Vrindavan. On this great day of Krishna Paksha Ashtami of Bhadrapada, during the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Maha Mahotsav, a grand flower bungalow, Jhulan Utsav, Chhappan Bhog, Laddu Gopal Abhishek, Bhajan Sandhya, Mahabhishek and Harinam Sankirtan were organized by the devotees of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir.

While addressing the devotees, the president of the temple, Shri Chanchalapathi Das, quoting the first verse of the 5th chapter of Brahma Samhita, said that Krishna is the exalted Supreme entity having His eternal name, eternal form, eternal attribution and eternal pastimes. The very name "Krishna" implies His love-attracting designation, expressing by His eternal nomenclature the acme of entity. His eternal beautiful heavenly blue-tinged body glowing with the intensity of ever-existing knowledge has a flute in both His hands. As His inconceivable spiritual energy is all-extending, still He maintains His all-charming medium size by His qualifying spiritual instrumentals.

 
He said that this opportunity of serving Their Lordships Shri Radha-Krishna has come in the lives of all of us, only because of the compassion of our Gurudev Srila Prabhupada, Acharyas, Sad Goswamis, especially Srila Rupa Goswami, because of which the Gaudiya vaishnavas are known as Rupanuga. 

On the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebration, Maha abhishek was conducted for Their Lordships Shri Shri Radha Vrindavan Chandra with auspicious items like Panchgavya milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar and 108 types of fruit juices, various herbs and flowers amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras. The entire huge temple was exquisitely decorated with marvelous flowers. Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Vrindavan Chandra was adorned with astounding brown silk and silver embroidered clothes.

On this auspicious occasion, 551 types of specially prepared dishes were offered to Mother Cow at Vilas Kunj Gaushala located inside the temple campus.

The Lord was born at 12 midnight, hence the entire Chandrodaya Mandir complex reverberated with the chants of His holy name. Devotees from all parts of India like Agra, Lucknow, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab etc. thronged to Sridham Vrindavan to participate in this grand festival and received the coolest blessings of Their Lordships.
