KISHUN MISHRA BEARING AN AWARD OF Rs. 50,000 ON HIS HEAD, SURRENDERED IN THE ARA CIVIL COURT, SENT TO JAIL

ARA------------------------------Under mounting police pressure, Kishun Mishram a named accused in the murder Kamal Kishore Mishra, main witness of the murder the State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Visheshwar Ojha and who bear an award of Rs. 50,000 on his head surrendered in the Ara Civil Court and was sent to jail under judicial custody. He is son of a dreaded criminal Shivjeet Mishra of Sonbarsha village under Karnamepur police outpost and was absconding for the last five years. At least seven criminal cases like murder and also under Arms Act are pending with the police against him.

Kamal Kishore Mishra was shot dead in the morning in his village at Sonbarasha near his house on September 28, 2018 and also injured two persons including Amar Nath Mishra of the same village and a named FIR was lodged against Kishun Mishra along with others in this regard on the statement of father of the deceased Sriman Narayan Mishra and since Kishun Mishra was absconding.

Patna High Court also had ordered his arrest and so the Bhojpur police intensified drive to arrest Kishun Mishra and conducted raids at different places in Kolkata, Dhanbad, Azamgarh, Balia and also at different places in Bihar. The police conducted raids at least a dozen times in Kolkata while the police following mobile surveillance, conducted raids in Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav confirmed the surrender of Kishun Mishra and said that the Police Headquarter had announced an award of Rs. 50,000 on his head and added that the police would very soon took him on remand.

It may be mentioned here that Brajesh Mishra was arrested in the murder of the then State Vice President, BJP Visheshwar Ojha and the murder of Kamal Kishore Mishra, an eyewitness of murder of Vishewar Ojha from Sonbarsha village under Karnamepr police outpost after an encounter with the police on October 13, 2018 and also seized a 9mm country made pistol and 9 live cartridges and then the Bihar government had announced an award of Rs. 50,000 on his head. Bisheshwar Ojha was gunned down on February 12, 2016 at Sonbarsha Bazaar under Karnamepur police outpost when he had gone to participate in a marriage ceremony. An award of Rs. 50,000 was announced on the heads of Haresh Mishra and Brajesh Mishra at that time and later both of them were arrested.

The police had lodged a separate FIR against two persons including Kishun Mishra under Arms Act. Kishun Mishra was chargesheeted in the police file since 2011.

On the other hand, Girija Devi, Mukhia, Prasaunda Panchayat and mother of Kishun Mishra said that her son was being implicated under well planned conspiracy by his enemies. She has faith in the court and her son would be acquitted.
