KARNAMEPUR POLICE OUTPOST UPGRADED TO THE POLICE STATION

Ara (RNI) The Karnamepur Police Outpost has been upgraded and is made an independent police station. Now all the facilities of a police station is available here. Sub-Inspector Chandan Kumar is made the first Station House Officer of this upgraded police station. Bhojpur SP Neeraj Kumar reached the police station and gave necessary instructions. With this a long pending demand of the villagers is fulfilled. The number of sanctioned strength in this upgrade police station will be SI 3, ASI 6, DAP 8 including women and 2 posts of driver constable. Later the number of strength will be increased. Now for primary registration, people have not be dependent on the officers of the other police station. 

Bhojpur SP Neeraj Kumar said that to run the upgraded police station smoothly, after determining the jurisdiction from the Home Department, more villages will be added to this police station. The newly created police station will be under the control of the SDPO, Jagdishpur and the Police Inspector, Bihia.

It is said that the then Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav had recommended to the Home Department for the up-gradation of Karnamepur police outpost. The Karnamepur police outpost was shifted to newly constructed police station building built with Rs. 4.20 crore and equipped with latest facilities on January 31, 2024. It is completely hi-tech.
