KAIMUR YOUTH TRAPPED IN SAUDI ARABIA

Bhabhua, 11 March 2023, (RNI): Urged by greed, a broker sent Hem Pratap Patel son of Sugandh Singh of Bagchhada village under Chand police station of Kaimur district in Bihar to Saudi Arabia promising a good job with handsome salary in a company there but he got neither a good job, nor good salary nor meal to his fill and he was forced 16 to 18 hours work there instead. He is also not allowed to talk to his family members in India. He somehow made video with the help of mobile of his co-worker and sent the video to his family members in India and requested to manage his safe return to India.

A brother Neeraj Kumar Soni of Chhatisgarh sent Hem Pratap Patel of Bagchhada village under Chand police station in Kaimur district to Saudi Arabia about one and half a month ago with a promise of good job and handsome salary in a company there but he got deceived. He was not given good job nor good salary and even good food instead he was pressed in menial work where he had to work over 18 hours a day. He is not allowed to talk to his family members. He somehow got an opportunity to make video from the mobile of his co-worker and sent it to his family members with a request to get him back to India at the earliest. In the video he said that three more persons like him are trapped there.

Bhabhua DSP Sunil Kumar said that some residents of Bagchhada village had come to meet him. They gave an application saying that Hem Pratap Patel fell in trap of a broker who sent him to Saudi Arabia to work there. He said that he in contact with the concerned department and legal  action would be initiated against the brother.
