BHABHUA-----------------------Sleuths of Excise Department, Kaimur, arrested three liquor smugglers along with an Innova Car and 328 litre of India Made Foreign Liquor from near Kariram village. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Hemant Pandey son of Ajay Kumar Pandey of Sindhuapar udner Hadhalganj police station, Parvez Khan son of late Kalam Ansari of Chillupar under Badhalganj District-Gorakhpur and Manish Jaisawal son of Ashok Kumar Jaisawal of Doharighat of Mau district in Uttar Pradesh. A named FIR was lodged with the police under the New Excise Act and sent them to jail under Judicial custody after interrogation and medical examination.
Assistant Excise Officer, Bhabhua, Rakesh Kumar said that he was patrolling at Badora Bridge when he got information that some liquor smugglers from Uttar Pradesh were smuggling IMFL in a car bearing registration number UP-80AZ 0493. He formed a police team at once and launched vehicle checking drive Kriram Kathwa road of Ramgarh block in Bhabhua. When the Innova car came, the police intercepted it and when searched, the police recovered 328 litre of IMFL. Later the police arrested all the three liquor smugglers in the car and even seized the car.
