KAIMUR POLICE SEIZED 224 BOTTLES OF IMFL, ARREST TWO LIQUOR SMUGGLERS

BHABHUA -----------------------Kaimur police arrested two liquor smugglers and seized 224 bottles of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from near Kulharia Mod under Durgawati police station in Kaimur district. A named FIR was lodged against the liquor smugglers under Durgawati police station the New Excise Act and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Kishan Singh 20 son of Vansh Gopal Singh of Sayyadraja village and Kishan Vishwakarma 20 son of Puran Vishwakarma of Belvania village under Sayyadraja police station of Chandauli district. Police are conducting raids to arrest the third liquor smuggler.

SHO Durgawati police station said that the police got information that a big consignment of IMFL is being smuggled on a motorcycle from Uttar Pradesh. He at once swung into action and launched vehicle checking drive at Kulharia Mod under Durgawati police station. Meanwhile, three persons were seen coming from Uttar Pradesh on a motorcycle. The police intercepted but the liquor smugglers threw the bag of IMFL and tried to escape from the scene. The police chased and arrested two of them though one liquor smugger somehow fled away. The police seized 224 bottles of IMFL from the gunny bag.
