BHABHUA------------------------Kaimur police recovered an elderly person from Bhabhua Road railway station in Kaimur district.

Kaimur SP Hari Mohan Shukla said that Shahnawaz Ansari son of Kasim Ansari of Mansurpur village under Durgawati police station in Kaimur district had given a written petition to the police that his uncle Islam Ansari had gone to Mohania to withdraw money from the bank on January 7, 2025 and he had told the family members from there that someone were following him and after that his mobile was switched off and he did not return home either. An FIR was lodged with the police under Durgawati police station in this regard and the police started investigating the matter. Taking it seriously, the SP said that he formed a special police team that following the technical investigation and CCTV footage found that Islam Ansari had come to Dilkhili Toll Plaza in a auto rickshaw from Mohania Bus stand where the villagers had seen him. And after that he went to Sasaram from Mohania Bus stand at about 2.45pm by bus. Meanwhile, the police got information on January 15, 2025, that Islam Ansari was returning from Kolkata in Purva Express train. As he alighted from the train at Bhabhua Road railway station, the police recovered him.

During interrogation, Islam Ansari revealed before the police that he was suffering from sporadic tension due to the marriage of his daughter and so he went to Kolkata without saying anything to the family members and on the pretext of withdrawing money from the bank. He was kidnapped. Later the police handed him over to his family members after fulfilling all the legal formalities.
