KAIMUR POLICE ARRESTED THREE WOMEN KIDNAPPERS, FREED A TEENAGE GIRL FROM THEIR CLUTCHES

Kaimur police arrested three women and also recovered a teenage girl in unconscious stage. Later the police produced the women in the court and sent them to jail under judicial custody.

ARA (RNI) Kaimur police arrested three women and also recovered a teenage girl in unconscious stage. Later the police produced the women in the court and sent them to jail under judicial custody. The arrested women were identified as Tetari Devi wife of Haricharan Sah of Ward No 12, Shakuntala Kuer wife of late Sonu Sah and Sushila Devi wife of Upendra Bind of Gangapur under Durgawati police station in Kaimur district. At present she lives at Ward No 12. Police are conducting raids to arrest Sonu Bind son of Upendra Bind also involved in the matter.

Tetari Devi along with Shakuntala Devi, Sushila Devi and Sonu Bind kidnapped a teenage girl of Bhabhua after intoxicating her and confined her in the house of Tetari Devi. They were planning to sell her out. When the girl did not return home, her father searched her everywhere but in vain. He also went to the house of Tetara Devi but he had to face strong opposition and so informed the police on April 17, 2024. After that the police swung into action and following the CCTV footage, the police found that the girl was seen returning home. On suspicion, the police conducted raid at the house of Tetara Devi and recovered the girl from a room in unconscious stage. On her revelation, the police also arrested Shakunlata Devi and Shushila Devi who disclosed that they had kidnaped the girl with the view to sell her out. They also told the police Sonu Bind also helped them in their act.
