Bhabhua (RNI) Kaimur police arrested three cattle smugglers and rescued 17 cattle loaded in a pick-up van like sardine from near Rampur Mod under Kudara police station on NH-2 in Kaimur district. The arrested cattle smugglers were identified as Ezaz Khan 29 son of Hakdar Khan of Babura village, Mohammad Danish 24 son of Mohammad Murtaza of Bhabhua and Raja Quraishi 22 son of Juman Quraishi of Bhabhua under the Bhabhua police station in Kaimur district. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Bhabhua police station against the arrested cattle smugglers under the Animal Cruelty Act and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The seized cattle have been protected at the fair.

SHO Kudara police station Vikas Kumar said that the police are very much active against any illegal activity under the police station areas. He said during patrolling at Rampur Mod on NH_2 under Kudara police station in Kaimur district, the police saw that a pick up van bearing registration number BR 45GA7977 was coming from Mohania. The police intercepted the vehicle and found that 17 cattle are loaded on the pick-up van like sardine. The police interrogated the three cattle smugglers including the driver but they could reply satisfactorily. Later the police arrest them and also seized the vehicle.
