KAIMUR POLICE ARRESTED FOUR CATTLE SMUGGLERS AND SEIZED STOLEN CATTLE

BHABHUA------------------------------Kaimur police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid and four cattle smugglers and recovered stolen two cattle from near Karmnasha Chand Canal under Durgawati police station in Kaimur district. The arrested cattle smugglers were identified as Ram Eqhal Musahar of Nasesh village under Kudara police station, Binod Musahar of Jaitpur village under Nuwaw police station, Om Prakash Nat of Belhari village under Mohania police station and Pappu Khan of Sikandarpur village under Chainpur police station in Kaimur district.

Mohania DSP Dilip Kumar said that cases of cattle theft were on the rise in Kaimur district and so the police have launched intensive checking drive to check cattle theft. Meanwhile, the police intercepted a Pick-UP van near Karmnasha Chand Canal, one person jumped off the vehicle and escaped from the scene while the four other who were sitting in the vehicle were arrested and the police brought them to the police station. The DSP further said that during  interrogation, the arrested cattle smugglers confessed their involvement and also revealed their names. The arrested cattle smugglers are residents of different villages under different police station in Kaimur district. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Durgawati police station in this regard and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. Later the police handed over the recovered cattle to Mukhtar Yadav of Karmnasha village under Durgawati police station.

The DSP stated that Ram Eqbal Musahar and Binod Musahar have criminal background. Several cases are pending against Binod Musahar in Nunaw, Sasaram and Chutia police station against him and he had been in jail several times. On the other hand, Ram Eqbal Ram was named in the house scaling case under Karmanchat police station and was landed in the jail in that case.
