KAIMUR POLICE ARREST TWO LIQUOR SMUGGLERS AND SEIZED 3042.36 LITRES OF IMFL AND A CONTAINER

ARA-------------------------Kaimur police, acting on a tip off, seized 3042.36 litre of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) loaded on a container from near Kudara Dak Bungalow under the same police station in Kaimur district on NH-19. The police arrested two liquor smugglers and also seized the container. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Kudara police station in this regard under the New Excise Act and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

SHO Kudara police station Vikas Kumar said that the Kaimur police are following the prohibition laws of Bihar governemmnt strictly and taking action against liquor smugglers as well as buzzers. He said that the police got information that a big consignment of IMFL is being smuggled in a container bearing registration number G’J 18 V5983. He launched vehicle checking drive on NH-19 near Kudara Dak Bungalow and as the container came, the police intercepted and when searched the container, the police seized 3042.36 litre of IMFL kept in between the sofa mattresses inside the container. The police arrested the driver and the co-driver of the container. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Shravan Kumar son of Kishna Ram and Omprakash Kumar Vishnoi son of Harbhajan Ram of Dhorimanna villae under the same police station of Barmer district in Rajasthan.
