BHABHUA-----------------------Kaimur police seized two trucks and arrested seven cattle smugglers and freed 50 cattle loaded on the trucks from near Kaithiyan village under Kudara police station on NH-30 in Kaimur district.
SHO Kudara police station Vikas Kumar said that under special contemporary campaign, police were checking vehicles near Kaithiya village under Kudara police station on NH-30 in Kaimur district when he got information that trucks loaded with cattle from Parasthuan village was to pass through Mohania. He at once informed the senior officer in this regard who called patrolling parties and launched vehicle checking drive coming from Parasthuyan vllage near Kaithiya village. Meanwhile, the police located two trucks bearing registration numbers UP 73A-6604 and UP 73T-1936 came from Parasthua. The police intercepted the trucks and when searched, the police found both the trucks were loaded with cattle. The police seized the trucks and also arrested seven cattle smugglers. Later the police freed the cattle 50 in number. A named FIR was lodged with the police under section 317 (5) BNS and 11(1)(D)(E)(F) Cattle Cruelty Act 1960 and the police sent all the arrested cattle smugglers to jail. The arrested cattle smugglers were identified as Rayas Nat son of Harichandra Nat of Madhua Mai village under Shaini police station in Kaushambi district, Uttar Pradesh, Mohammad Arman Quraishi son of Raashid Quraishi of Piro (Bhagalpur) under Piro police station, Bhojpur district of Bihar, Arman Quraishi son of Kallu Quraishi of Bikramganj Ward No 22 under Bikramganj police station of Rohtas district in Bihar, Mohammad Daud son of late Abid Ali and Mohammad Naazima son of Hasan Razaagram of Gulamipur Nanmai under Kokhraj police station of Kaushambhi district, Uttar Pradesh, Shamshad Quraishi son of late Ramzan Quraishi of Bikramganj Ward No 23 under Bikramganj police station of Rohtas district in Bihar.
