KAIMUR POLICE ARREST MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS
Kaimur police foiled the bid of loot under Kudara police station and arrested six miscreants with firearms. The miscreants were wanted in a loot case on NH-19 too.
Bhabhua (RNI) Kaimur police foiled the bid of loot under Kudara police station and arrested six miscreants with firearms. The miscreants were wanted in a loot case on NH-19 too. The arrested miscreants were identified as Upendra Yadav alias Kattapa son of Shiv Dular Yadav of Badaka Pakadihaar village under Mohania police station in Kaimur district, Sakib Khan son of Md. Aftab Khan of Dilawarpur Ward No 25 under Kotawali police station in Munger district, Pintu Ram son of Lalan Ram, Sonu Ram son of Babban Ram, Mukesh Ram alias Boss son of Dadan Ram and Ajay Kumar son of Baban Prajapati of Bahera village under Kudara police station in Kaimur district. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation.
Kaimur SP Lalit Mohan Sharma said that Shambhu Nath Pandey son of Krishna Dev Pandey and Chintu Maurya son of Sohan Lal Maurya had lodged an FIR on April 26, 2024 under Mohania police station complaining that when they were going to Varanasi with their truck when three unidentified armed miscreants intercepted the truck and thrashed them and also snatched their mobiles and money near Kodiram village under Mohania police station in Kaimur district. After institution of FIR, police were investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Meanwhile, the SHO Kudara police station got information that about half a dozen armed miscreants were hatching plan near Ghatav OverBridge to loot. On information a special police team was formed and the police team conducted raid and arrested six miscreants and seized two country made pistols, five live cartridges, one stolen motorcycle, five mobiles from them.
The SP said that during interrogation, Upendra Yadav alias Katapa confessed the involvement in the loot case and said that he along with his friends Ajay Kumar and Mukesh Kumar alias Boss had snatched Rs. 28000 in cash and two mobiles from two drivers near Kodiram village under Mohania police staton. Upendra Yadav alias Katapa was arrested in 2023 in connection with a loot case and had been in jail and he had been bailed out from the Bhabhua jail on February 22, 2024.
