KAIMUR POLICE ARREST FOUR LIQUOR SMUGGLERS INCLUDING A WOMAN, SEIZED 85 LITRE OF COUNTRY MADE LIQUOR
Kaimur police arrested four liquor smugglers including a woman and recovered 85 litre of country made liquor from their possession.
Bhabhua, 16 June 2023, (RNI): Kaimur police arrested four liquor smugglers including a woman and recovered 85 litre of country made liquor from their possession. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Bhagwanpur pocie station against the arrested liquor smugglers under the New Excise Act and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Ashok Kumar Singh son of Nathuni Singh, Sudarshan Singh son of later Shiv Murat Singh, Panchdevo Singh son of Sudarshan Singh of Akhlaspur village under Bhabhua police station and Lakhpatiya Devi wife of Balmiki Singh of Badwan village under Adhaura police station in Kaimur district.
SHO Bhagwanpur police station Anil Prasad said that during vehicle checking drive, the police intercepted Scorpio bearing registration No BR 45P5183 and seized 85 litre of country made liquor from the vehicle and seized Scorpio. The police also arrested four liquor smugglers including a woman travelling in the vehicle.
