Kaimur police rescued 51 cattle and arrested four cattle smugglers and seized a container, three mobiles though driver of the container escaped under the cover of darkness.
BHABHUA (RNI) Kaimur police rescued 51 cattle and arrested four cattle smugglers and seized a container, three mobiles though driver of the container escaped under the cover of darkness. A named FIR has been lodged with the police in this regard and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested cattle smugglers were identified as Mohammad Aslam son of late Ishaque of Rahamat Nagar under Sadar police station in Purnia district, Mohammad Farid Sah sonof Mohammad Nayeemiuddim Sah, Mohammad Salim Quraishi son of late Mohammad Islam Quraishi and Mohammad Sazid Anwar son of Mohammad Ashraf Quraishi under Chainpur police station areas in Kaimur district.
The police said that it was informed during night patrolling that a container loaded with cattle was coming towards Ramgarh. The police swung into action and intercepted the container. Seeing the police, the cattle smugglers tried to escape but the police chased and arrested four of them though the driver of the container fled away under the coverage of darkness. When searched, the police rescued 51 cattle loaded on the container like sardine.
