BHABHUA (RNI) Kaimur police, acting on a tip off, seized large quantity of ganja from a Hyundai car, measuring material and a blue coloured motorcycle and arrested five drug peddlers. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Baljeet Yadav son of Sudarshan Yadav of Dumarkon village under Adhaura police station in Kaimur district, Pramod Singh son of late Bhola Singh of Dhumradeo village under Chainpur police station in Kaimur district in Bihar, Evan Nishad son of Raj Kumar Nishad of Sabar Sambharpur under Bithur police station in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Deepak Nishad son of Moti Lal Nishad of Nathpur village under Gwalatoli police station in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and GoluYadav son of Manoj Yadav of Rupchandpur village under Cholapur police station in Varanasi Uttar Pradesh.
Kaimur SP Lalit Mohan Sharma said that the SHO Bhagwanpur police station Uday Kumar got information that some drug peddlers were coming to Bhabhua with Ganja from a hill. The police set up blockade at the gate of Radhakhand ahead of Todi village under Bhagwanpur police station. On suspicion, the police intercepted a Hyundai car and when searched, the police seized large quantity of ganja from the car. When the police interrogated them strictly, the drug peddlers revealed the location. After that a police team under the Bhabhua SDPO Shiv Shakar Kumar was formed and the police team conducted raid at Dhumar village and the police seized total 156 kilogram of ganja, a weighing machine and a Hyundai car bearing registration number WB 40P.
