BHABHUA------------------------Kaimur police arrested 11persons including the Central Superintendent of Bhupesh Gupta Intermediate College in connection with irregularities in the Central Selection Council Constable Recruitment Examination held on October 1, 2023. The arrested persons were identified as Ram Sewak Ram son of Pramod Ram of Bhokhari village under Mohania police station, his brother Dhanoj Ram, his sister Sindhu Kumari, Ajit Kumar son of Nand Kishore Singh of Surajpur village under Ramgarh police station, Bala Lakhnadra Rajak son of Ravindra Baithak of Suhawal village under Chainpur police station, Badal Kumar Singh son of Manoj Kumar Singh, Vikas Kumar son of Bhanu Pratap Singh of Nadokhar village under Kudara police station, Avinash Kumar son of Surendra Singh of Sonaw village, Sanjay Kumar son of Lal Babu Yadav of Sundari village under Belaw police station, Sanjay Kumar son of Ram Lal of Khalaspur village under Bhabhua police station and Gaurav Kumar son of Virendra Singh Yadav of Khorhara village under Ramgarh police station in Kaimur district.
Kaimur District Magistrate, Sawan Kumar received a complaint about irregularities in both the shifts of the Central Selection Council Constable Recruitment Examination on October 1, 2023. The DM formed a team under the leadership of Bhabhua Block Development Officer (BDO) Chandra Bhushan Kumar. The flying squad reached the Bhupesh Gupta Intermediate College Examination Centre and during investigation roll numbers, admit cards of many candidates of first and second shifts of examination were found from the mobile of the Central Superintendent. When the candidates were checked from the admit cards of the first and second shifts, written answers were found from their mobiles. The mobiles deposited in a shop outside of the examination centre was also checked that disclosed a conversation was found on the candidates’ mobile numbers from the mobile number of the Central Superintendent on September 30, 2023. Answers of questions were also found on the WhatsApp of the candidates which were sent from the numbers of Kamlesh Singh and another person. In this case, 11 persons including the Central Superintendent were arrested.
The arrested persons said that the main accused involved in this racket is Kamlesh Singh who ran a coaching centre at Mohania. Kamlesh Singh had sent the answer sheet on the WhatsApps of many candidates prior to the commencement of the examination. Investigation also revealed that the candidates had sent money to Kamlesh Singh through Phone Pay. Raids are being conducted to arrest Kamlesh Singh and others involved in the racket but he is sill absconding. The answer sheets seized from the WhatsApps of the candidates are sent to the Central Selection Council, Patna for matching in advance investigation and research.
