Under the auspices of Sri Sanatan Shaktipeeth Sansthanam a seven day Srimad Bhagwat Katha Mahayagya is organized at Chandraman Market at Jagdeo Nagar. Delivering sermon on the first day, eminent Bhagwatcharya Dr. Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey Ji Maharaj said that life is only for experiencing the joys of surrendering to God.

Delivering sermon on the first day, eminent Bhagwatcharya Dr. Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey Ji Maharaj said that life is only for experiencing the joys of surrendering to God.
The life of those who do not experience surrender gets entangled in depression, sadness and crisis whereas the life of those who remember God’s mercy and grace is full of blessings and happiness. Stories and festivals make us realize and reveal the divine essence that is always close to us. Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that only the grace-filled idol of God can be seen on earth in the form of saints, devotees and great men. Paramaradhyacharan Gopanganas tell Lord Krishna that the great men who narrate your story are the biggest donors of the universe and give everything to the living beings. Those who are grateful by providing-Bhuvi Grnati te bhurida janaah.
He said that even in the names of severe calamity, disorders do not arise in the hearts of great men. Sankadi Acharyas have ordered devotion, knowledge and renunciation to reside in the hearts of great men and saints. Devotion,knowledge and renunciation are strengthened through Bhagwat Katha, ghosts are banished and God’s abode is attained.
In the morning, the original recitation of Srimad Bhagwat Purana, worship of Sasrvotobhadra Mandal and Rudrabhishek etc. were performed by the scholars under the leadership of Pandit Sanjay Dwiwedi of Prayagraj.
On this occasion, organizing Committee Chairman Brij Bihari Singh, Secretary Triloki Nath Singh, Vasudeo Singh, Bhuvan Singh, Biteshwar Rai, Brahmdev Rai, Sudhir Kumar, Jagdeep Narayan Ojha, all the guests including S All the guests including Sumant Singh worshiped the Vyaspeeth. Listeners came in large numbers from areas like Anaith, Vishnu Nagar, Bank Colony, Station, Maharaja Hata, Katira, New Police Line, Gautam Nagar etc. and listened to the Bhagwat.
