ARA-------------------------------A meeting of the Academic Board of Sri Sanatan Shakti Peeth Sansathanam was held under the chairmanship of Acharya Dr Bharat Bhushan Pandey to decide the date to observe Juitiya Vrate.
It was decided in the meeting that Jitiya Vrat should be observed on October 7, 2023. Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that sunrise is to take place on Ashtami on October 7, 2023 and Ashtami will remain till 10.21am the same day and the Jitiya Vrat is observed on Ashtami tithi as per Hindu mythology. He said that on October 6, 2023, Saptami bidh Ashtami is sacrificial and fasting on October 7, 2023 would be better and the Vratis will break their fast on October 8, 2023 before 10.44am.
In the meeting, people’s doubts regarding Pitri Paksha were also resolved and it was said that Dev Pitru work is a daily task. Pandit Vishwanath Tiwari, Pandit Madheshwar Nath Pandey, Pandit Durga Shankar Choubey, Pandit Shankar Pathak, Pandit Sanjay Pathak etc. were present in the meeting.
