JHARKHAND POLICE ARREST A FRAUD FROM NEW DELHI FOR CHEATING Rs 68 LAKH FROM A BUSINESSMAN OF ARA

Ara, 22 July 2023, (RNI): Jharkhand police arrested a person from Dwarka Sector 17 in New Delhi in connection with fraud of Rs. 68 lakh from a businessman and social worker of Ara. The arrested person was identified as Vishal Pandey son of Ramakant Pandey of Maulabagh locality under Ara Nawada Police station in Bhojpur district in Bihar.

Ajay Singh of Bakhorapur village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district is Managing Director of Infratell Private Company Limited and lived at Sarveshwari Nagar on Itaki road in Ranchi in Jharkhand. Ajay Singh is setting up an ethanol plant at Navanagar. He had met Vishal Pandey at Ranchi in the year 2021 and fraudulently took Rs. 68 lakh in the name of contact in the railway by pretending to be a resident of Ara. Vishal Pandey introduced himself as the managing director of a partnership firm and claimed that allotment of construction of two platforms and other works of the railway to his firm with the estimated cost of about Rs. 14.41 crore is under process and he also had taken the name of a person of Patliputra.  Whenever Ajay Singh demanded his money, Vishal Pandey threatened him with dire consequences. Then Ajay Singh lodged a named FIR with the police under Pandara police station in Ranchi on November 18, 2022. Ajay Singh said that the arrest of Vishal Pandey is inevitable and he is suffering from a heavy financial loss and metal agony.

It is said that his photograph was made public two days ago in which he was seen standing with some persons in front of a banner of LJP(Ramvilas) though not a single senior leader was seen in the photograph. Just after his photograph became viral, the Ranchi police swung into action and with their Delhi counterpart arrested Vishal Pandey from Dwarka Sector 17 in New Delhi. The Ranchi police had conducted raids at his residence at Maulabagh in Bhojpur district several times to arrest him but every time he escaped arrest.
