ARA----------------------------Floral tributes were paid to the founding Secretary of Bharatiya Jansangh, former National President and former MP, Prof. Balraj Madhok on the eight death anniversary at the office of the Jansangh at Friend’s Colony at Ara today. A programme was organized to mark the occasion under the presidentship of Madheshwar Pandey, district president of the Jansangh. The leaders garlanded the portraits of Prof. Balraj Madhok, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Din Dayal Upadhayaya.
Speaking on the occasion, National President, Bharatiya Jansangh, Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that Prof. Balraj Madhok, an integral companion of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and a great son of Mother India, was an ideal teacher, skilled organizer, great thinker, litterateur, historian, unequaled warrior, visionary politician and outspoken parliamentarian. After the untimely demise of Dr. Mukherjee, the pair of Prof. Balraj Madhok and Pandit Din Dayal Upadhayaya made the supreme contribution in taking over Jansangh and taking it to the masses. He said that the ideal society and strong nation for which Madhok ji and Din Dayal Ji struggled is yet to be realized and added that the main objective of a political party is national interest and national defense, electoral success is the immediate result. Our struggle is our success.
He further stated that today elements are active to disintegrate the society and weaken the country for petty power and votes. In such a situation, Jan Sangh has to run a special campaign to awaken awareness on social, cultural and economic levels and to implement its policies. Acharya Pandey said that our workers are active for the empowerment of the society by making 25 Lok Sabha constituencies of the entire country their centres. He said that the great socialist Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia considered Ram. Krishna and Shiva as the ideals and inspirations of India and started the Ramayana Fair but today the so-called socialists and Lohiaists are opposing Ram, Ramayana and their ideals.
Similarly, contrary to the views expressed by Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar regarding the creatinn of Pakistan and his emphasis on the unity and empowerment of the Hindu Society, a conspiracy is being hatched to disintegrate the society by misusing his name, a campaign to correct it at the grassroots level is being launced by Jan Sangh. He added that as long as expensive elections are held, socio-political chaos, inflation and corruption cannot be eliminated.
Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey stated that the Election Commission should campaign for all the candidates and the trend of wasting money like water should be stopped. Money power, caste power and muscle power have frustrated merit and made democracy meaningless. Democracy can be made successful and meaningful only by imparting intense nationalism in the society.
Adcocate Surendra Kumar Mishra conducted the meeting while District Vice President, Janardan Mishra welcomed the guests and National Executive Member and Advocate Satyendra Narayan Singh extended vote of thanks.
