An Intermediate student was crushed to death while his father was seriously injured when a speeding dumper collided head-on with the motorcycle near Doghara village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district in the morning.

ARA---------------------------An Intermediate student was crushed to death while his father was seriously injured when a speeding dumper collided head-on with the motorcycle near Doghara village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district in the morning. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there but the doctor after first aid, referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The deceased was identified as Priyanshu Kumar 18 an intermediate student and son of Nagendra Kumar of Mahuli village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district. When the family members arrived at the Ara Sadar Hospital, they became agitated and started breaking the lock on the gate of the postmortem house. On information the police on duty at the Ara Sadar Hospital somehow controlled the unruly mob.
Family members of the deceased said that Priyanshu along with his father Nagendra Kumar was going to his aunt (bua) Sunita Devi at Itwan village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur in the morning on his motorcycle with curd, flatten rice on the eve of Makarsankranti and when he reached near Doghara village under Bihia police station, a speeding dumper collided head-on with the motorcycle killing Priyanshu Kumar on the spot and injuring seriously his father Nagendra Kumar.
