BUXAR----------------------------A statement of Buxar MP Ashwini Choubey is going viral on social media after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) gave ticket to Mithilesh Tiwari from the Buxar Parliamentary Constituency supplanting Ashwini Chaubey and the action of the party infuriated him a lot.

Ashwaini Choubey after being denied party ticket this said that such a thing that is sure to cause a political upheaval. He said that he would stay in Buxar only, nomination is still pending.

Voting for the Parliamentary Election in Buxar on June 1, 2024 in the seventh phase but this time the battle of Buxar will be very interesting. BJP denied the ticket to sitting BJP MP from Buxar Ashwini Choubey and fielded said to be his own disciple Mithilesh Tiwari. He told is workers that nominations are still pending and requested to wait as a lot was going to happen.

Sources said that the viral video is of April 8, 2024. In the video, Ashwini Choubey is seen having a meeting with his workers. During this, he appealed to his workers that he did not know and could not understand as to what the party thought but there were some conspirators after the allotment of tickets and they would be naked after the election. He added that nominations are still pending and a lot was going to happen. He said to the workers not to be worried and whatever happened will be auspicious. He would remain in Buxar.

Earlier, Ashwini Choubey had talked to media before April 8, 2024 meeting during which he had argued that he had not extended his had to anyone. He had said that he was a ‘fakir’ and would be ‘fakir’ till last. He had not asked for anything for himself. Till date, the party has given him a lot of respect. As far as tickets are concerned, I was among those who distributed tickets. His ticket was not cut but the party has given him respect.

Although he definitely said that he had not resentment towards the party but he opened his mouth after 15 days. He just could not understand as to why his ticket was cancelled. He was a poor person and the party is his mother and he would continue to serve the party. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi trusts him.

On March 24, 2024, BJP had announced its candidates for the 17^th Parliamentary Elections. In the list of candidates, tickets of many such as Ajay Nishad from Muzzaffarpur, Chhedi Paswan from Sasaram, Rama Devi from Shivaharincluding the sitting MP from the Buxar Parliamentary Constituency were cancelled. This seats except Buxar have gone to the JD(U)’s account this time.

Mithlesh Tiwari was born in Dumariya village of Gopalganj district and he graduated from Economics. He successfully contested the 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections and became MLA on BJP ticket from Baikunthpur seat of Gopalganj district. He had to face defeat from Katia Assembly Election in 2020. He held many posts in the party and presently holds the post of State General Secretary in the party. An interesting contest is on the cards on Buxar Parliamentary Elections this time. The BJP denied ticket to the sitting BJP MP from Buxar Ashwini Choubey and fielded Mithilesh Tiwari in his place. On the other hand, the RJD has fielded Sudhakar Singh while former IPS Anand Mishra, after resigning from the job, has started his political innings.
