IN PLEASURE FIRING, ONE YOUTH WAS INJURED IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

Ara, 19 May 2023, (RNI): In pleasure firing, one youth received bullet injuries at Babubandh village under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district during a marriage ceremony and was referred to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The injured was identified as Yogendra Chaudahry 28 son of Raghubansh Chaudhary of Devdhad village under Tier police station in Bhojpur district. He had come to his in-laws to attend the marriage ceremony.  

A dance programme was organized during a marriage ceremony at Babubandh village under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district where someone fired and the bullet hit the back of Yogendra Chaudhary who had come to his in-laws to attend the marriage ceremony. He was at once rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition.

SHO Chauri police station Rajanikant Said that a marriage ceremony was going on in the house of Sinhasan Chaudhary at Babubandh village under Chauri police station and Yogendra Chaudhary had gone to there to attend the marriage ceremony and he was also watching the dance programme along with others. A dance programme was also organized on the occasion for the entertainment of guests. When the dance programme was in progress, someone fired and the bullet hit Yogendra Chaudhary and injured him. The SHO said that the person who had fired, has been identified and the police are conducting raids to arrest him.
