IMFL SEIZED, TWO ARRESTED

Bhabhua, 6 February 2023, (RNI): Kaimur police, acting on a tip off, arrested two persons along with 111 litre of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and seized a vehicle bearing registration No BR24GC3973 near Tekari village on Panapur-Dasauti Canal road under Mohania police station in Kaimur district. An FIR was lodged with the police under Mohania police station in this regard under the New Excise Act and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the liquor smugglers. Later the police sent the arrested persons to jail after interrogation. The arrested persons were identified as Pradumn Kumar 24 son of Tez Lal of Badakagaon under Tarari police station in Bhojpur district and the driver Rakesh Kumar 32 son of  Bajrangi Sah of Kolo Dihari under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district. The police also seized two mobiles from them.

SHO Mohania police station Lalan Kumar said that he got information a consignment of IMFL was being smuggled in a vehicle. He at once launched vehicle checking drive and seized 111litre of IMFL and seized the vehicle. The police also arrested the liquor smuggler and the driver of the vehicle.
