ARA------------------------A speeding truck crushed to death a scooter borne ice-cream seller near Ayar Mor under the Ayar police station. The driver escaped with the truck after the incident. The deceased was identified as Rajesh Sah 31 son of Kashi Nath Sah of Babubandh village under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. He survived by his mother Kunti Devi, wife Seema Devi, two daughters Khushi and Kedi and a son Piyush.
Pankaj Kumar, a relative of the deceased said that Rajesh Sah sold ice-cream on his scooter from village to village and he was returning home after selling ice-cream in the evening on July 25, 2024 and when he reached near Ayar Mor under Ayar police station, a speeding truck collided his scooter head-on and injured him badly. The driver escaped with the truck after the incident. The villagers rushed him to the Ara Sadar Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
