ICE-CREAM SELLER CRUSHED TO DEATH

ARA (RNI) Speeding bus crushed to death an ice-cream seller near Dekudha Mod under Charpokhari police station in Bhojur district on Ara-Sasaram State Highway today. Irate villagers blocked the road near Dekudhi village with the body and paralyzed movement of vehicles. They burnt tyres on road and raised slogans against the district administration. They were demanding compensation for the family of the deceased. The agitating villagers also caught the driver of the bus and badly thrashed him and later handed him over to police. The blockade could be lifted after positive response of the police officials. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Krishna Tiwari 40 son of late Kanhaiya Tiwari of Devkudha village under Charpokhari police station.

SHO Charpokhari police station Santosh Kumar Singh said that Krishna Tiwari was an ice-cream seller and he was selling ice-cream since morning as ever today when a speeding bus knocked him down from behind and killed him on spot.
