HUSBAND BIT NOSE AND CHEEKS OF HIS WIFE AND INJURED HER

Ara (RNI) Husband bit nose and cheek of his wife with teeth and injured her at Naya Gaaon under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district and also ran away from the scene. The injured was identified as Gayatri Devi 31 wife of Babaloo Mahato. She somehow informed her family members who rushed her to the Ara Sadar Hospital. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station against Babloo Mahato in this regard on the statement of the injured. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the named accused.

Gayatri Devi of Ghagha village under Bihia police station was married to Babloo Mahato of Naya Gaon under Ara Muffassil police station in the year 2006 and she has two sons Ankit Kumar 16 and Rohit Kumar 11 and a daughter Moti Kumari 12 with the marriage.

Gayatri Devi said that her husband Babloo Mahato is a habitual drunkard and he also thrash her since the marriage in inebriated state but she always tolerated. She further said that her husband Babloo Mahato does not give money for the household expenses and whenever she demands, he abused and thrashed. She works in houses as domestic help to earn two squares meal a day for her sons and daughters. Last evening, when her daughter Moti Kumari was cooking food at home, her husband came in drunken state and started abusing her daughter. When she said whatever he wanted to say, say to her, not her daughter. On this, he beat up her severely while in an intoxicated state, scolded her and also brutally bit her nose and cheeks and seriously injured her.
