HOMEOPATHIC DOCTOR KILLED, HIS SON INJURED
One Homoeopathic doctor was crushed to death while his son was seriously injured when a seeding truck dashed their motorcycle near Yamuna Brick Kiln on Ara-Chhapara main road in the late evening on March 22, 2023.
Ara, 23 March 2023, (RNI): One Homoeopathic doctor was crushed to death while his son was seriously injured when a seeding truck dashed their motorcycle near Yamuna Brick Kiln on Ara-Chhapara main road in the late evening on March 22, 2023. The deceased was identified as Dr Jai Shankar Pandey 52 son of Dileshwar Pandey of Sabalpur village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district while the injured was identified as Chunuu Pandey, son of the deceased. As the news of his death spread, the villagers became agitated and blocked the near Chhoti Pulia and paralyzed movement of vehicles. They burnt tyres of road and raised slogans against the police administration.
The agitating villagers, seeing the police vehicle of 112 number from Badahara, they became all the more agitated and pelted with stones and chased the police till Babura Check-Post. The police personnel somehow escaped from the scene but the agitating villagers set ablaze a motorcycle of an SI Raj Kumar Singh. The villagers blamed the illegal realization of money from the trucks and tractors. Later police reinforcement was requisitioned from Ara that controlled the situation and recovered the body. The police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there.
Jai Shankar Pandey, homeopathic doctor, of Naya Sabalpur under Badahara police station along with his son Chunnu Pandey was coming home on motorcycle after closing his clinic at Dayalchak and when he reached near Babura Chhotaki Pulia, a speeding truck dashed the motorcycle from behind killing Jai Shankar Pandey on spot and injuring his son Chunnu Pandey seriously.
