Harsha Sanyukta daughter of daughter of Anil Kumar Sinha and Rosy Rani, retired officer in the government of Bihar and resident of Ara presently lived in Ashiana Nagar in Patna, has been selected in the world fame Oxford University, London’s high ranking prestigious institute ‘Shedd Business School’ with the scholarship of 78510 pounds (approximately Rs. 87 lakh) from ‘Laidlaw Foundation’ a global level competitive scholarship which is given by the organization for exceptional female leadership potential and excellent academic ability. Selection of Harsha Sanyukta is another feather in the cap of Bhojpur glory.

Selection of Harsha Sanyukta is another feather in the cap of Bhojpur glory.
Harsha Sanyukta dis her schooling from DPS, Paatna. Her excellent performance, blessed with talent and hard work, was visible at the school level itself. She appeared at the CBSE matriculation board examination in 2013 with 10 CGPA and in +2 examination in 2015. She was topper in the school in the humanities faulty by scoring 96.4 percent in the B.Sc. examination and 100 percent in the history subject.
Due to her natural interest in social work and social change, Harsha Sanyukta was in the general trend of taking admission in humanitarian faculty for further studies. While studying, she also taught for a few months in ‘Nari Ganjan’, a school run for girls for dalit and deprived class under the direction of Padmashree Sudha Varghese. Harsha Sanyukta said that the teaching period might have lasted for some time but it was beneficial for the deprived and neglected sections of the society. She further said that she got a chance to closely observe and understand the girls’ talent, hard work, dedication, psychology and socio-economic status. This experience strengthened her commitment to go into the development sector and she took History subject in St. Stephen’s College in Delhi University and during her studies, she remained associated with writing and social work. She continued participating in acivities and programmes of social organizations like ‘Teach for India’, ‘Goonj’, and ‘UNICEF’. After her graduation, Harsha Sanyukta did internship at National Commission for the Scheduled Caste, Government of India. Her career in social impact really began when she joined PWC where she worked closely with the Central Ministry of Large-Scale development projects and public policy initiatives. Later she joined ‘Satva Conssulting’. She kept working in the field of education, livelihood, health etc. She prepared projects and gave related advice and implemented them. She also led a project that provides non-profit education. More than 10,000 rural girls in schools in Rajasthan returned to their respective schools and completed their studies owing to her relentless endeavour in this regard.
Harsha Sanyukta wants to take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen its skills and network in such a way that it can be successful in supporting the educational challenges India is facing these days especially the weaker sections on a large scale. Harsha Sanyukta has emerged as an inspiration for all those girls of Bhojpur and Bihar who are struggling with their studies and drams of higher education. While doing social work, on the basis of her talent, hard work, and dedication, she is on way to Oxford University to get higher education and degree for the family and country.
