HAM SPOKESPERSON ARRESTED

Ara, 6 January 2022, (RNI): Jharkhand police arrested three persons including the national spokesperson Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) and main conspirator Danish Rizwan after revelation of his name by arrested shooters and the shooter in connection with firing on Sushma Badaayik alias Padma Badayik under Argoda police station in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The Jharkand police arrested Danish Rizwan, a resident of Tari Mohalla under Ara town police station, at the gate of the Ara Civil Court when he had gone there to appear in the court in another case. The Jharkhand police took him to Ranchi on transit remand. 

Reportedly, Sushma Badayik of Jharkhand had come to Patna for a work and came in contact to Danish Rizwan. They came so close that Sushma Badayik had a child with Danish Rizwan but he refused to accept the child. Sushma Badayik knocked the door of the apex court for DNA test analysis. Police said that Danish Rizwan was afraid that he might be in trouble water after the DNA test and perhaps so he conspired against Sushma Badayik and with the help of shooter, he got murderous attack on Sushma Badayik of Kuer Singh Chowk Haramu in between Haramu Chowk and Sahajanand Chowk under Argoda police station in Ranchi on December 13, 2022 when she was going to High Court Doranda on a motorcycle along with her bodyguard Hilariyush Topono. Motorcycle borne unidentified armed miscreants had pumped three bullets into her body. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Argoda police station against Danish Rizwan, Neeraj Sinha, Sunil Singh Badal, Md Nazir, an IPS Natrajan, Ajay Kachchhap and others on the statement of Sikandar Badayik brother of Sushma Badayik.

During investigation, the bodyguard of the lady told the police the registration number of motorcycle used in the crime. On the basis of the registration number of motorcycle, the police put pressure on a hotel and got an Adhar Card of a youth from Uttar Pradesh who was staying with the shooter in the hotel and was said to be very close to Danish Rizwan. Later the police arrested two shooters in this case and during interrogation, they revealed the name of Danish Rizwan.. After that, the Jharkhand police reached Ara and arrested Danish Rizwan at the gate of the Ara Civil Court.

On the other hand, family members of Danish Rizwan refuted all charges and said he was implicated in false case under political conspiracy and he is innocent.

At least 56 body guards were deployed in the security of Sushma Badayik within a year. All the bodyguards were interrogated one by one after the incident of December 13, 2022. Sushma Badayik had come to limelight after a video of sexual harassment had become viral in the year 2005. The Bihar government had dismissed the IG P S Natrajan but was acquitted of all charges after 12 years of legal proceedings.
