ARA-----------------------------Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey, National President, All India Jan Sangh, urged the Indian Government to put diplomatic pressure at the international level to ensure the safety of the Hindus and temples in Bangladesh.

In a statement to the press today, the Jan Sangh National President said that even during Sheikh Hasina’s government, temples and Hindus had been victims of violence in Bangladesh. He added that with complete anarchy prevailing and anti-India elements playing openly in Bangladesh, the minorities there have become the target of extremist elements especially Hindus. He appealed to the international community and human rights agencies to take effective steps for the safety of Hindus living in Bangladesh. Acharya Pandey while condemning vehemently the carnage of Hindus and burning of temples in the anarchic violence so far, said that even in the 21st century, the so-called democratic and liberal world is not safe from Hindus. Hungry wolves will attack them anytime and make them their prey anywhere.
