Fed up with the vulgar activities of boy students and also against the Principal not taking action against them, hundreds of irate girl students reading the Class XI and XII of Jawahar Nayodaya Vidyalaya, Bihia in Bhojpur district observed fast in front of the office of the Principal.

ARA--------------------------Fed up with the vulgar activities of boy students and also against the Principal not taking action against them, hundreds of irate girl students reading the Class XI and XII of Jawahar Nayodaya Vidyalaya, Bihia in Bhojpur district observed fast in front of the office of the Principal. They were demanding to call Deputy Commissioner, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Committee,Patna Division. The Principal Vinod Kumar and the Bihia Block Development Officer (BDO) tired their best to persuade them but they did not budge an inch.
The agitating girl students said that the boy students of the school frequently talked and acted obscenely in the class room also wrote vulgar comments on the walls of the school. The girls had given a written petition to the Principal of the school four days ago but no action was taken against the boy students that forced them to sit on fast. The girl students of Class XII did not appear in the practical examination either.
The DC reached the school and had a marathon talk with the girl students in a cose room and also rebuked the Principal for his inaction.
