An FIR was lodged with the police under Mohania police station on September 7, 2024 on the statement of Dinesh Chandra Pandey son of late Shiv Prasad Pandey of Paranipur village under Meja police station of Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh in connection with kidnapping of his nephew Abhishek Pandey son of Gulab Chandra Pandey. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and started investigating the matter and also conducting raids to recover the kidnapped person.

BHABHUA------------------------------An FIR was lodged with the police under Mohania police station on September 7, 2024 on the statement of Dinesh Chandra Pandey son of late Shiv Prasad Pandey of Paranipur village under Meja police station of Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh in connection with kidnapping of his nephew Abhishek Pandey son of Gulab Chandra Pandey. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and started investigating the matter and also conducting raids to recover the kidnapped person.
During investigation, the police recovered the body of Abhishek Pandey from Navinagar Canal, Aurangabad and brought it to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for postmortem. In course of investigation, the police following technical researches and mobile surveillance, found that Abhishek Pandey had some love affairs with Sangeeta Kumari wife of Santosh Kumar of Baritha village of Kaimur district who lived in the rented house of Sanjay Seth at Mohania Ward No 7. When the police arrested Sangeeta Kumari and interrogated her thoroughly, she confessed that Abhishek Pandey was murdered due to love affairs. She also said that while talking on mobile with another person Kalamuddin Ansari of Garhwa district of Jharkhand, a new love affair started. Meanwhile, Abhishek Pandey started harassing her by calling from time to time due to which she got upset and told her new lover Kalamuddin Ansari about it. And she along with Kalamuddin Ansari hatched a plan and on September 6, 2024, to execute their plan, Sangeeta Kumar asked Abhishek Pandey to finance the car and go on a tour and took him to Navinagar station by Varanasi-Ranchi intercity train where Kalamuddin Ansarii was already present alongiwth his aide Bhim Yadav and some others. Kalamuddin Ansari and his aides took Abhishek Pandey on a motorcycle but he had taken a photo of the train number and sent it to someone. After which Sangeeta Kumari boarded the train and came back to Mohania. Sangeeta Kumari talked to Kalamuddin Ansari on September 7, 2024 who told that he had killed Abhishek Pandey and threw his body into the Koel River Canal and he would kill anyone who dared to come in between them.
The police recovered from the deceased body a black and blue coloured bag, ID card of Chola Company in which the name of Abhishek Pandey was mentioned, check book of the HDFC Bank, ATM card of HDFC Bank, debit card of the Corporation Bank, a registered card of 8363 of BR 45 registered in the name of Abhishek Pandey, brown coloured purse, shoes, helmet of Woodland Company and the black coloured motorcycle bearing registration number JH-14J 1242 used in the murder have been recovered. The police arrested Sangeeta Kumari in this regard and are conducting raids to arrest her lover Kalamuddin and his aides. The police sent her to jail after interrogation.
