FOUR PERSONS INJURED IN ELECTION RIVALRY
-Four persons including a minor girl were shot at and injured in firing due to election rivalry at booth numbers 12 and 13 at Paiga School under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district.
ARA (RNI) Four persons including a minor girl were shot at and injured in firing due to election rivalry at booth numbers 12 and 13 at Paiga School under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district. The injured were admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. After the incident, senior police officers including the Bhojpur SP Neeraj Kumar Singh rushed to the spot and investigated the matter. The injured were identified as Kishun Dayal Ram, Rahul Kumar Ram, Harendra Ram and a minor girl Khushi Kumari.
Family members of the injured said that they were returning home after voting when some persons abruptly started pelting with stones using racial slurs and also fired at least 10 rounds unprovoked in which three of a family were injured. A bullet also hit a minor girl watching the incident.
