FOUR MINOR CHILDREN MET THEIR WATERY GRAVE IN RIVER SONE
Four minor children met their watery grave in the river Sone at Ahiman Chak Sand Ghat under Azimabad police station in Bhojpur district today while taking bath in the river.
Ara, 15 March 2023, (RNI): Four minor children met their watery grave in the river Sone at Ahiman Chak Sand Ghat under Azimabad police station in Bhojpur district today while taking bath in the river. The deceased were identified as Shubham Kumar 6 son of Jai Chaudhary, his cousin brother Rohit Kumar 9 son of Ram Rai Chaudhary, Amit Kumar 12 son of Birendra Chaudhary and Rohit Kumar 12 son of Bajrangi Chaudhary of Nurpur village under Azimabad police station in Bhojhpur district. The police fished them out of the water and rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared dead. Later the police got their postmortem done at the Ara Sadar Hospital.
SHO Azimabad police station said that Shubham Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Amit Kumar and Rohit Kumar had gone to field in the morning where they ate berry from the tree and proceeded towards Ahiman Chak Sand Ghat on the bank of river Sone where they slipped and fell into deep water in the river and drown. People nearby raised alarm and informed the police and family members of the children.
