FOUR KILLED, TWO INJURED

Ara (RNI) Four youths including a minor girl were killed while two other injured when a speeding truck dashed two motorcycles and crushed them near Lahari Tiwaridih village under Piro police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway today. Police brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased were identified as Vir Kuer Ram son of Anand Ram of Nuwa village under Sikarhatta police station, Antu Kumari son of Umesh Paswan of Tirozpur under Tarari police station, Abhishek Kumar son of Ravindra Paswan of Trozpur village under Tarari police station but the the fourth deceased could not be identified while the injured was identified as Sanju Devi and her minor son. As the news prevails, irate villagers blocked the Bihia-Bihata State Highway near Lahari Tiwaridiha village and paralyzed movement of vehicles. They raised slogans against the district administration and demanded compensation for the families of the deceased. The blockade could be lifted only after positive response of the police officers.

Piro DSP Rahul Singh said that two motorcycles clashed near Lahari Tiwaridih village under Piro police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway today first and all the six motorcycle borne persons including a woman and two minor children fell to the ground. Meanwhile, a speeding truck run over them killing four of them and injuring two. Later the driver escaped with the truck from the scene.
