FOUR COs SUSPENDED, FIR AGAINST IN-CHARGE ASSISTANTS
-Three former and one present Circle Officer, Bihia in Bhojpur district have been suspended with immediate effect for filing of false affidavit in the Patna High Court in connection with removal of encroachments from the government land.
Ara, 5 April 2023, (RNI): Three former and one present Circle Officer, Bihia in Bhojpur district have been suspended with immediate effect for filing of false affidavit in the Patna High Court in connection with removal of encroachments from the government land. The suspended COs are Manoj Kumar, Dheeraj Kumar, Basukinath Srivastava former COs since 2013 and the present CO Sushil Upadhyaya. Basukinath Srivastava has been retired from the post.
At the instance of the Patna High Court and the proposal of the Bhojpur District Administration, Revenue and Land Reform Department suspended all the four COs, Bihia with immediate effect. Several other employees of the Bihia Circle Office, Bihia including the clerk Gopal Jee Singh may come under the dragnet. The Bhojpur district administration has also formed a proposal “A” against them in this regard.
The Bihia Circle Officer, Bihia Sushil Kumar lodged a named FIR against three former in-charge assistants with the police under Bihia police station in connection with missing of documents from the Bihia Cricle Office.
The CO Sushil Kumar named former in-charge assistant Raj Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Gopal Singh in the FIR in this regard blaming them for missing of documents from the financial year 2010 to 2019. After institution of FIR, police are investigating the matter.
